Domaine Rewa - Wine2Trade Portfolio

01 October,2010

Domaine Rewa is the Central Otago vineyard and wine venture of Philippa Fourbet, a New Zealander living in France.  A Francophile, she was inspired by the wines of Burgundy to plant vines.  Her 5.5 ha ‘Epicurious Vineyard’ in Lowburn, in the foothills of the Pisa Range, was established in 1997 and is planted to Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling and  Pinot Gris, the latter and some of other fruit also sold under contract.   The vineyard was certified BioGro organic in 2015 and is tended by Grant Rolston and Gary Ford of Vinewise who also employ biodynamic regimes.  Philippa has Pete Bartle of VinPro as her winemaker, the first Domaine Rewa wines were from the 2011 vintage.  Production will be limited to around 850 dozen made annually.  The Domaine Rewa range comprises Riesling, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.  www.domainerewa.com
