Marlborough fruit fermented at temperatures from 12°C to 17°C in stainless-steel to 13.5% alc. and dryness, the wine aged on lees. Brilliant, pale straw-yellow colour with green hues, this has a fresh and upfront nose of soft gooseberry fruit with hints of passionfruit, fresh herbs and minerals, the bouquet just beginning to show some secondary bean-like development. Dry to taste, bold and juicy flavours of gooseberries, limes and tropical fruits feature on the palate. This is lush and near-succulent, and the brightness is enhanced by racy acidity. A slight textural thread lines the palate, leading to a dry finish with good length.
