How to Submit Wines for Review

Suppliers are invited to submit wine(s) for review. Technical details, winery tasting notes and an indication of Recommended Retail Price are requested to be provided, if available. There is a charge of $33.00 exclusive GST ($37.95 inclusive GST) per wine reviewed.

The supplier will receive acknowledgement of receipt of the wine sample(s). A review will be made and published on the website, and feedback returned, as soon as practical and possible (say, nominally, within 3-4 weeks, dependant on work load).

The wine will tasted ‘open', identity known, rather than ‘blind'. The review written may include an introduction and background to the wine, variety, style or group of wines it may be tasted in. The review will include a description based on colour, aroma and taste, and the wine will be assessed and scored on the 20 point scale as well as the 5 star rating system.

Only wines of bronze medal standard (15.5/20 or ) and above will have reviews published unless instructed otherwise by the supplier. If a wine receives an assessment less than bronze medal standard, the review will still be provided to the supplier as confidential feedback.
A GST invoice will be sent to the supplier for the cost of the review(s) once published. Payment is due by 20th of the following month.
