Bright, very pale straw colour with suggestions of green hues, near colourless on the rim. This has a softly full and deeply concentrated nose with harmoniously melded aromas of passionfruit, fresh herbs, green capsicums and mouthwatering chalky minerals. This has a gentle piquancy along with building richness. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has softly fresh and finely concentrated flavours of passionfruit, blackcurrants, nuances of gooseberries, along with fresh herbs, green capsicums and chalky minerals. The palate is thirst quenching with very fine textures and balanced acid liveliness. The mouthfeel is integrated and beautifully balanced, and smooth flowing, carrying to an elegantly concentrated, sustained finish. This is a beautifully harmonious, smooth flowing, mouthwatering, elegantly concentrated Sauvignon Blanc with passionfruit, blackcurrant and gooseberry flavours with herb and mineral notes. Match with shellfish andserve with Pacific Rim fare over the next 2 years. A blend of fruit, 72% from the ‘Blackmore’ and 28% from the ‘Register’ vineyards, both in Dillons Point, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.5% alc. and 5.7 g/L RS. 19.0+/20 Jan 2018 RRP $33.90
