Bridge Pa Wine
10.00 am to 6.00 pm, Saturday 23 January 2016
Bridge Pa Triangle Wine District, Hawke’s Bay
Cost: $20.00, $30.00, $45.00 and $50.00 (for
various bus options)
This is the second Bridge Pa Wine Festival which follows on
from the success of last year’s inaugural event. The festival has seven wineries showcasing
the attributes of this special winegrowing area which produces some of Hawke’s
Bay’s and New Zealand’s top wines.
Attendees will be able to taste wines and meet the winemakers from Abbey
Cellars, Alpha Domus, Ash Ridge, Hawke’s Ridge, Ngatarawa, Paritua and Sileni
Estates. These wineries will each host
individual events including masterclasses, offer music and food. Details will be available at each winery.
The wineries will be connected by a bus service throughout
the day, and participants can hop on and off to allow them to choose the
wineries they wish to visit at their convenience. Each of the wineries is located less than 5
minutes drive apart from each other.
There are different ticket prices which take into account
the various bus services. The $20.00
ticket gives holders access to all wineries and a festival glass (no bus
usage). The $30.00 ticket includes an
all-day bus pass. The $45.00 ticket also
covers transfer from Hastings or Havelock North, and the $50.00 ticket covers
transfer from Napier. Tickets will be
limited to 2,500.
