Gimblett Gravels 2009 Annual Vintage Selection

By May 12, 2011No Comments
The Gimblett Gravels Winegrowers Association has announced the dozen wines that comprise their Annual Vintage Selection for 2009. This is a collection of wines that is sent out to key media and influencers around the world to keep them up-to-date with the developments of the Gimblett Gravels region on a vintage-by-vintage basis. This initiative was introduced last year with 12 wines from the 2008 vintage, comprising five blended-reds and seven Syrahs. The feedback was such that the Association has decided to make it an annual release.  www.gimblettgravels.com

The 2009 selection was again independently made by Andrew Caillard MW, the director of Langton’s auction house, based in Sydney, from wines submitted by members of the Gimblett Gravels Winegrowers Association.
