Amisfield – A Wine Pair from Pisa

11-Aug-2011
With nearly a decade of wine releases, Amisfield can shake off its new winery status in Central Otago. Top results and critical acclaim for the wines have cemented Amisfield's place as one of the leaders in the region, and its 67 ha of plantings at Pisa, overlooking Lake Dunstan and 600 tonne winery are proof of the commitment to the long-term. Experienced hands are in charge of the production, with Stephanie Lambert realising her passion for Pinot Noir after stages in Australia, Oregon, Burgundy and in charge of Pinot Noir and all red winemaking at Sileni in Hawke's Bay along with dedicated viticulturist Andre Latagan, originally from the winelands of South Africa. Here are the latest Riesling and Pinot Noir wines from Amisfield's Pisa sited vineyard. www.amisfield.co.nz
