GeorgeTown Vineyard Central Otago Pinot Noir 2012

28-May-2015
The GeorgeTown Vineyard situated at the Cromwell entrance to the Kawarau Gorge is owned by Ian and Marianne Dee. A series of top-flight Pinot Noirs has come from this site from the inaugural 2007 vintage. The vineyard was established in 2002 by the late Gary Andrus, with 7,100 Pinot Noir vines planted in the 1.5 ha. The 777, 5, 667, 115 and 114 clones are tended by Ian Dee and the wines are made at the Mt Edward winery by Duncan Forsyth. Here, I review the 2012 Pinot Noir. www.georgetownvineyard.co.nz
