Greylands Ridge – Alexandra Pinot Noir Grower

09-Sep-2011
Greylands Ridge is the small 4.2 ha vineyard in Letts Gully, Alexandra, established by Patrick and Judy Medlicott in 2002. Named after the family farm in Waimate, the vineyard is planted to Pinot Noir, with the first vintage being the 2006, with a production of 650 cases. In a good season, up to 1,700 cases of wine are made. Antony Worch of Alexandra Vintners is the winemaker. I review the new releases. www.greylandsridge.co.nz
