Haha Marlborough Pinot Noir 2010

08-Nov-2011
Haha is a new and specialised wine brand destined for sales in New Zealand and aimed to do well in export. The wines have been created to offer tested quality with value and have been sourced primarily from Marlborough. Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir are the first feature varietals as they are this country's signatures. Well-known winemaker and wine judge John Belsham is one of the members of the selection panel accessing and approving the wines. Haha means ‘savoury or luscious' in Maori, which is what these wines are meant to deliver. I review the very smart and satisfying Pinot Noir release.
