Lawson’s Dry Hills 2014 Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Pinot Rosé

08-Dec-2014
Starting in 1992, Ross and Barbara Lawson had the aim of producing "premium Marlborough wines of great character, quality and varietal expression”. The Lawson’s Dry Hills wines are just that, thanks to a strong, experienced and practical team dedicated to the original vision. Under Barbara and general manager Sion Barnsley’ guidance, winemakers Marcus Wright and Rebecca Wiffen, and viticulturist Mark Ludemann are turning out wines that are brighter, fresher, and more varietally focussed than ever before. Sourcing fruit from the Wairau, Waihopi, Omaka and Awatere Valleys, the wines serve as classics for the Marlborough region. Here, I review the new 2014 Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay which is unoaked and Pinot Rosé. www.lawsonsdryhills.co.nz
