Lawson’s Dry Hills – A 2008 Pairing

14-Apr-2011
The 2008 harvest in Marlborough has become somewhat notorious for the basis of this country's oversupply crisis. Some people have made the somewhat erroneous connection that the high yields in general have meant that most of the 2008 Marlborough wines show dilution or less than optimal ripeness, which is untrue. The aromatic whites have shown superbly, and with many Pinot Noir wines, the desirable traits of beauty and elegance have been achieved. The wines made by Marcus Wright and Rebecca Wiffen at Lawson's Dry Hills are a case in point. www.lawsonsdryhills.co.nz
