Mahi Pairing – Sauvignon and Chardonnay

07-Dec-2010
After 15 vintages, Brian Bicknell with his wife Nicola set up Mahi as their own winemaking business. The name 'Mahi', meaning ‘our work, our craft' is very appropriate, as Brian's reputation for crafting interesting and complex wines with the propensity to handle bottle-age is well-known. Brian and Nicola's focus is on single-vineyard wines, with a base of Marlborough regional wines. Two wines sampled, showing possible family characteristics with complexity by way of use of oak and wild yeast fermentation. www.mahiwine.co.nz
