Mahi Wine Mastering Sauvignon Blanc

07-Dec-2011
Brian Bicknell is a craftsman with Sauvignon Blanc and can make different styles from the variety, highlighting how it can be manifest with interest. The basic tenet is to build in palate texture, rather than relying on primary fruit expression, and thus, classical wines with the ability to "show interest and subtlety” result. Bicknell asserts that made with this approach, such wines can age well. To demonstrate his philosophy, two Mahi Sauvignon Blanc wines have been shown together. My reviews follow. www.mahiwine.co.nz
