Pikes Vintners of the Clare Valley

22-Apr-2014
The Pikes name has a history going back to 1868 when Henry Pike began selling ales, soft drinks and cordials in South Australia. His great grandson Edgar and his Roseworthy graduate sons Andrew and Neil established Pikes Wines in 1984 at their Polish Hill River Estate in the Clare Valley, Andrew tending to the viticulture and Neil the winemaking. The family operation has 75 ha of vines producing a broad and diverse range of traditional and innovative styles. www.pikeswines.com.au The wines are distributed in New Zealand by EuroVintage. www.eurovintage.co.nz
