Rapaura Springs ‘Reserve’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2014

30-Sep-2014
The Rapaura Springs wines of the Neylon and Wiffin families who own the Marlborough custom crush Spring Creek Vintners facility highlight their vineyard holdings, and the wines made to date have reflected the high quality of the fruit from very good sites and first-class management of the vines. The wines have the added attraction of very good value, and it is no surprise the brand is gaining traction in the market place. The ‘Reserve’ releases are made from the best parcels of fruit and go that step further in showing varietal intensity and regionality. At the start of the month I reviewed the new release ‘estate’ Rapaura Springs Sauvignon Blanc 2014 which I thought very good (click here to see my review). Here, I review the 2014 ‘Reserve’ Sauvignon Blanc. www.rapaurasprings.co.nz
