Rochfort Rees Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2012

15-Apr-2013

The Rochfort Rees wines have a loyal following from the active marketing by proprietor Oliver Scutts. Named after a pioneering forebear in the Queenstown district, the wines are made from contract fruit to the preferred styles as specified by Oliver and have enjoyed critical success in judgings. The labelling and packaging for the Sauvignon Blanc is strong, evoking tradition, and the Pinot Noir is bold and striking, these being factors in their appeal. I recently reviewed the 2011 Pinot Noir (click here to see). In New Zealand the wines are available through www.blackmarket.co.nz Here is my review of the 2012 Sauvignon Blanc. www.rochfortrees.co.nz
