Stonecrop Martinborough Sauvignon Blanc 2014

24-Apr-2015
One of the Martinborough labels that is rarely seen in the New Zealand market is ‘Stonecrop’ from Andrew Harris and Sally Richardson. Their 8 ha vineyard on Dry River Road is planted to Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, which they try to tend as much by themselves as possible. Andrew and Sally have their wines made by Alexis Moore at the Gladstone Vineyard facility, as they divide their time between New Zealand and New York. The majority of the output is sold on the North American market, thus the limited domestic availability. Here I review the new 2014 release of the perennially popular Sauvignon Blanc. www.stonecropwines.com
