Supper Club Sauvignon Blanc 2014

11-Aug-2014
The ‘Supper Club’ brand of Christchurch wine distributor Alastair Picton-Warlow has taken a life of its own. Designed to be an everyday and affordable label that harks back to the frivolous and fun times of the Supper Clubs in London during the late 1940s, the wine suits these modern times. It is growing in the New Zealand market and has been exported. Alastair has the assistance of Nick Entwistle and Sam Rose with the Marlborough wines and Dean Shaw for the Central Otago wine. I’ve seen the Sauvignon Blanc wine steadily progressing in balance and flavour expression since the 2011 vintage release. Here is my review of the new 2014 release. www.supperclubwines.com
