Terrace Springs – From Terrace Heights Estate

14-Nov-2011
The Terrace Springs wines have sprung as an offshoot of the Terrace Heights Estate wines of Steve Hammond in Marlborough. The Terrace Heights Estate is situated on the lower terraces of the Wairau Plains, just west of Renwick. Gibson's Creek and Tyler's Stream wend their way through the vineyard and the area has numerous natural springs as well as a number of ponds created to facilitate biodiversity. The Terrace Springs wines are a second tier range offering value and are also made by Terrace Height Estate winemaker Sam Smail of Whitehaven renown. The fruit is all from the estate vineyard. www.thewine.co.nz
