Tiki Estate Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015

31-Jul-2015
The Tiki wine brand has made a remarkable impression on the market from the first 2009 vintage release. Much of its success can be attributed to the resource of excellent fruit from the 225 ha of vines the company owns in the Upper Wairau Valley. It is not only economies of scale operating to provide value, but also the high quality as achieved by viticulturist James Nightingale, and the experienced winemaking of Evan Ward. 2015 is seen as a very strong vintage, producing punchier fruit flavours in the Sauvignon Blanc over that of recent years. Here is my review of the new 2015 Tiki ‘Estate’ Sauvignon Blanc. www.tikiwine.com
