Trapiche Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon

22-Mar-2012
Owned by the Penaflor Group, Trapiche is a most significant wine producer of Argentina, dominant in premium wine exports which go to over 80 countries world-wide. It's 125 year history and more than 1,000 ha of estate vineyards is the base for its success. The enlarged winery, at Maipu, Mendoza was opened in November 2008 has a capacity of 30,000 hl. Trapiche's specialisation in varietal wines, especially Malbec, grown in Mendoza, has aided the international recognition and acceptance of fine Argentine wine. I review the latest Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec from the value ‘Varietals' and ‘Oak Cask' ranges. www.trapiche.com.ar
