Two French Rosé Wines From Vintners

21-Dec-2012
Is this good timing or what? Just as summer has arrived, wine distributors Vintners New Zealand have released some rosé wines from France for the Kiwi market. They have a point of difference to those made locally, relying on textural qualities rather than exuberant fruitiness. This is what makes them so good with food. They're less lurid in colour and the paler pink is all the fashion in Paris, of course! Here are my reviews of two French rosé wines from the 2011 vintage, which is of course current, as they've only just harvested the grapes for 2012. www.vintners.co.nz
