Two Sisters Central Otago Pinot Noir 2012 – 2010

30-Jul-2015
Adam Peren, who has a long involvement with the Central Otago wine industry named his own label ‘Two Sisters’ after his two daughters. The wines come from his small, north-facing vineyard in the Lowburn district, established to Riesling and Pinot Noir in 1999. Since then, he has added more Pinot Noir in 2001 and Pinot Gris in 2004. The first releases came with the 2006 vintage; Peren happy to see the wines released enjoying some bottle age. The 2009 Riesling was noteworthy for winning two trophies at the IWSC last year. Here, I review the Pinot Noirs from 2012, 2011 and 2010, all made by Jen Parr. www.twosisters.co.nz
