Nautilus Estate Marlborough Albarino 2015

Other White from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 10-Dec-2015
Bright, even straw-yellow colour with light green hues. This has a fresh, bright and fragrant nose with softly intense aromatics of white florals, white stonefruits, honeysuckle, exotic spice notes and musk. This if finely concentrated and features fruit purity. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is elegant in proportion with lively and refreshing flavours of exotic white florals, white stonefruits, honeysuckle and musk. The mouthfeel is energetic with plenty of lacy acid tension, balancing a subtly sweet, rich and near unctuous core and line. The palate carries to a bright, zesty, fragrant finish of florals and musk. This is an elegantly refreshing and beautitful aromatic Albarino with gently rich flavours of white florals and musk. Serve with Asian fare over the next 3-4+ years. Fruit from the ‘Renwick’ vineyard, second crop, fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. and 5.0 g/L RS, TA 7.4 g/L and pH 3.5, the wine aged 5 months on lees. 18.5/20 Dec 2015 RRP $29.00
